Parking Hints

“Vehicles in the parade must enter the line-up at Hwy 96 and Oak Grove Parkway. Only parade units on Oak grove Parkway – all other vehicles must park in business lots. You have to be heading eastbound on 96 to enter the line-up area. To enter line-up, you must take a right hand turn onto Oak Grove. A concrete median prevents left hand turns into line-up.”

*2026 Note: Greenhaven Drive is currently under construction and is one-way only. Use Centerville Road and Hwy 96 to get from the end of the route to the beginning.

If you park near the beginning, they have a shuttle going from the end of the parade to the staging area until 2:30. The shuttle is generally small with long wait times. After the parade, the shuttle runs until 630, but will require you to be patient!

At the end of the parade the Heritage Days festival is going on in the Community Park. So it is crowded in this area and parking is scarce. But parking can usually be found on side streets in the end area, but the walk to the line-up might take a bit longer, depending on where you find a spot.
